Today in chapel Mr. Semanek (Favorite teacher like ever) talked about who our real enemy in life is, of course Satan. After Mr. Semanek was done with his talk (which I only spaced out during once, proud to say it) he played a song called Give Me Your Eyes by Brandon Heath. It had such a deep meaning to it, and the music video was so great it would be a shame if I just didn't make it my song tonight. Often times when I'm bored my mind wanders about pointless things. When I walk past people in a store sometimes I wonder will I ever see this person again? What kind of life has this person lived? Are they going through a hard time right now? How does this person view me?...Just little things...Sometimes I wonder if I got the chance to help someone (especially some cute girl) would I step up to the plate and do it? My biggest fear though is that I will finally get that chance, and then let that person down. I hate to let people down.
"Give me your eyes for just one second Give me your eyes so I can see Everything that I keep missing give me your love for humanity Give me your arms for the broken hearted the ones that are far beyond my reach Give me your heart for those forgotten Give me your eyes so I can see"-Give Me Your Eyes by Brandon Heath
