My Name Is Jonas

Today was the 3rd time I have participated in a cross country event. I finished with the outstanding time of 16:11(ish) and 50th place. (No, this is bad, no kidding) But since Coach Hawley was there and since I have discovered my "theme song" for cross country I figured I should blog about it. I think I will follow up this post with a another post entitled "Cd Player" but that is yet to come. I don't have an Ipod but I do have a cd player, so on the way to the meet I listened to my cd player. The disc in my cd player is the first album to be realeased from Weezer, it is entitled "Blue Album." The first song on the Blue Album is called My Name Is Jonas so everytime I leave from Westbury Christian with my cd player that will be the first song I hear. I don't know why but that song just sticks out to me at 7:00 in the morning. Maybe its the visions of grandeur I get when I listen to the lyrics and imagine us running. Maybe its just because its so early in the morning and it just sounds good, but whatever the reason this is my theme song for cross country. For now at least.
